A single dandelion beneath a storm

Official music project

The things we carry
become songs.

Parker Beckett is a creative legacy built from Corey Winfield's real stories, created to leave his children and future grandchildren something lasting of their father while giving other people music they can relate to, feel, and carry with them.

The digital songbook

Every song gets its own room.

Official lyrics are here now. Cinematic interviews, commentary, photographs, handwritten notes, and the stories behind the lines will be added as the archive grows.

Beyond the album

Why Parker Beckett exists

A music project built to last.

The project began as a creative outlet. It became a professional home for songs Corey realized were worth preserving.

After years in radio, he trusted his instincts about what made a song work. The lyrics came from his own life, but releasing them under his own name did not feel right, and hearing someone else sing such personal material felt even stranger. Parker Beckett became the place where those stories could live.

The project is first for Parker and Beckett, and someday their children. It is also for anyone who recognizes part of their own life in the material.

Separate, not hidden

Parker Beckett and 217 Recovery occupy different spaces.

Parker Beckett is an independent creative project. Corey Winfield is also the founder of 217 Recovery. The two are not promotional arms of one another, but neither needs to pretend the other does not exist.
